The Southey Men visited Wandilea in the National Double Fours, it was a low scoring match but it was the Wandilea team that came out on top by the score of 25-15 over the 2 rinks. A day later there ended up being no matches played at Southey due to 1.5 inches of rain falling on the green in 2 hours and local flooding. see below,
The next evening saw the men playing in the Past times trophy , One triple playing at home and one away at Epsom Park. This was a very tight game for most of the game, with only a few ends left Southey were 1 shot up but the last few ends Southey pushed on and ended up 38-24 winners. Also on the same evening The Surrey Ladies Fours started, the Southey ladies four played a four from Supreme, with 7 Johns trophy bowlers playing it was a competitive match which Southey came out on top.
