Last week The Southey Men’s team lost in the Top Club to Putney Town, losing on the last bowl of the triples then a few days later we went out of the Double Fours away to North Sheen.

Southey played a friendly on the Thurs 6th May, we always start with a game against or neighbours Merton Park, We had 4 triples out on the green, lovely sunny evening if a bit cool. We won on 3 rinks with a match score of 65- 38

After starting the Club competitions in Early July to allow our clubhouse to open on Sunday 6th Sept it was our finals day, green bowled excellently and the weather was superb. It was really great so many people down the club that many of us hadn’t seen all season.
