After starting the Club competitions in Early July to allow our clubhouse to open on Sunday 6th Sept it was our finals day, green bowled excellently and the weather was superb. It was really great so many people down the club that many of us hadn’t seen all season.
Southey had a successful season, In national competitions the men reached the Area final of the Club Double Fours, winning the Surrey section to be one step for qualifying for national finals. Last week The Southey Men’s team lost in the Top Club to Putney Town, losing on the last bowl of the triples then a few days later we went out of the Double Fours away to North Sheen.
